Hello all!

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the postponement of our 2020 Muskoka Paramedics softball tournament.

We sat on the issue for some time now, waiting to see where the country, province, and municipality were headed in regards to COVID-19. While we are still 2 months away from when the tournament is scheduled, planning for it typically would begin by now. While we remain optimistic that things will be better by May, the reality is that they could very well be the same, if not worse by then. It simply would not be responsible of us to host a large gathering of healthcare workers and their families in our district.

With that being said, we haven’t ruled out the idea of hosting something in 2020, possibly in the fall when chaos of summer has ended and the weather is still nice (no bugs either). We’ll keep everyone posted as best possible.

Again, we apologize for the bad news. We look forward to seeing you all at some point in the near future. Good luck everyone and please be safe out there!
